Several things have occurred in the past few minutes that have grown and expanded and outright exploded into a Being Human Canon AU fic idea. A big one. A big goddamned monster.

And I'm afraid it's going to haunt my nightmares until I write it all down.

After struggling to start my previous idea for a good eternity (and getting nearly a couple thousand horrendous words into the thing), a random plot flew into my mind and I started writing it down on a whim...

So I'm working out some NaNo-related things, prepping for November. And of course I'm having those, "oh my god, I don't know anything about my characters" pre-NaNo jitters, so I'll be scouring some challenge communities on LJ to pick up a few simple prompts and get the juices flowing.
